AIP is proudly CHAP accredited, recertified in 2021 and again in 2024. CHAP is among the strictest accrediting bodies in hospice: outside inspectors review everything about how we care for families, every three years.
US FCR Listed
AIP is listed on the US FCR as an approved contractor for the US government, which supports our ongoing work with the VA and veterans who receive benefits.

What is hospice care?
Hospice care is medical care for someone with a life-limiting illness, focused on comfort instead of cure. That means pain management, daily support, and help for the whole family, wherever the patient lives.
Who qualifies for hospice?
Someone qualifies for hospice when a doctor determines that, if the illness runs its expected course, life expectancy is six months or less. If you're not sure whether your loved one qualifies, call us, and we'll help you have that conversation with the doctor.
Where does hospice care happen?
Hospice care happens wherever the patient lives: a private home, an assisted living community, a nursing home, or a personal care home. When hospital-level comfort care is needed, AIP can provide that as well.
How fast can hospice start?
Hospice can often start the same day. AIP Hospice aims to respond to new referrals within 30 minutes, any hour of any day, and the first visit typically happens within one hour of signed consent.
